Our Story

Casanova's began with a simple idea: bring real Italian cooking to South Dublin without the fuss or the inflated price tag. What started in Stillorgan Village has since grown to a second home on Rathfarnham's Main Street, each one built around the same wood-fired oven and the same recipes. We're still run the same way today — informal, friendly, and food-first.

Our Craft

Every pizza starts with natural sourdough, left to rise slowly so the flavour has time to develop properly. From there it goes into our wood-fired dome oven, reaching temperatures that most home ovens can't get close to, giving the crust its signature light, crisp bite. It's a labour-intensive process, but it's the only way we know how to do it right.

Our Atmosphere

Step into either of our restaurants and you'll feel it immediately — a happy, bustling room full of conversation, clinking glasses, and the smell of fresh basil and woodsmoke. We've always believed a great meal is about more than the food on the plate; it's the whole experience. That's why our staff treat every table like regulars, even on a first visit.
